OUR APPROACH
Trust takes time. Small, everyday moments matter.
We believe in calm, consistent support and relationships built on respect. Understanding a young person’s experiences helps us look beyond behaviour and think about what they need.
Different experiences, strengths and needs. Care should reflect the person.
Listen, explain decisions and involve young people in the things that affect them.
Confidence grows through encouragement, achievable goals and celebrating progress.
LIFE AT SATURN
Life is about more than a care plan. It is about routines, interests, relationships and finding things to look forward to.
FIND YOUR RHYTHM
Regular meals, time to relax and familiar routines can help life feel more settled.
DISCOVER WHAT YOU LOVE
Sport, creativity, getting outdoors or trying something new. What matters is finding interests that feel like yours.
TAKE THE NEXT STEP
Encouragement with learning and everyday skills, with space to recognise your strengths and work towards your goals.
FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
It is OK to have questions. It is OK to need time. Your feelings and opinions matter, and you deserve explanations you can understand.
Start with your questionsFOR FAMILIES & CARERS
A new care arrangement can bring uncertainty. Clear information and an understanding of each young person’s needs help everyone prepare.
Details about care, contact and support should be discussed with the young person’s social worker and care team, taking their individual plan into account.
YOUR QUESTIONS
Some useful starting points for young people and the people who care about them.
Your views matter. You can ask how decisions are made, say what is important to you and ask for information to be explained in a way you understand.
Family contact depends on your individual care plan. Your social worker and care team can explain what has been agreed and help you understand the arrangements.
Speak to a trusted adult, your social worker or your advocate. You can ask for help to share a concern or make a complaint, and ask what happens next.
A young person’s social worker or local authority placement team should discuss suitability, support needs and current availability directly with Saturn Premier Care.
